Our knowledge of what’s taking place in education across the nation gives our clients a head start. We know where to begin; who to call, what questions to ask; who’s doing what well; who’s doing what poorly; and how to identify the gaps in between.
While we have broad experience working on a variety of education change initiatives and policies, our firm’s deepest knowledge is in and across four practice areas: College and Career Readiness; College Completion; Teacher and Leader Effectiveness; and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) strategies. This deeper knowledge helps us to tailor our research, from literature reviews to environmental scans, to ensure we talk to the right experts and read the right information to inform and guide our client's decision-making.
Equally as important, we understand the different perspectives of policymakers, educators, advocacy organizations, funders and other partners. We’ve worn most of these hats ourselves, and tailor our advice to clients with their unique positions and responsibilities in mind.
