Josh Parker is a Senior Consultant at Education First Consulting, bringing over 20 years of dynamic, equity-centered instruction. Known for empathy and expertise, Josh specializes in coaching, strategic planning and thought-partnership. 

Josh brings extensive expertise from his time in the adventurous world of middle and high school (English) instruction, where he was honored as the 2012 Maryland State Teacher of the Year.. A champion for equity and pedagogical content expertise, he has a proven track record of helping educators, school and district leaders create the conditions for effective teaching and learning

Driven by a desire to align his problem solving background with a deeper purpose, Josh’s work is deeply connected to the mission and vision of Education First Consulting, where he leverages his solutions-based mindset to deliver exceptional results and support our community. He is the proud father of his UNC “Star”-Heel, Laila and his skilled basketball player and emerging chef, Joshua.
