With 15 years of experience in education, Sydney leads and supports projects focused on strategic planning, organizational growth and development, collective impact networks, place-based education investments and AI. She works with government agencies and foundations to make strategic decisions informed by policy, practice and research, with clients including the Gates Foundation, Chicago Public Schools, the California Department of Education and the Los Angeles County Office of Education. Sydney served as project manager for Education First’s AI-focused partnership with Chicago Public Schools and currently manages the AI x Coherence Academy. She also leads internal-facing professional learning and operational initiatives related to AI. Previously, she worked for education organizations across the country, including the Los Angeles Unified School District and KIPP NYC.
