Tran Keys is a Senior Consultant at Education First Consulting, bringing more than 20 years of experience across K–12 public education, applied research and evaluation, and education consulting and technical assistance. Known for translating research, data, and evidence into clear, decision-useful insights, Tran specializes in evaluation and continuous improvement, assessment and accountability systems, and facilitation and strategic planning.

Tran brings extensive experience working across district and state education systems to strengthen systems and improve outcomes for students. As a former district administrator overseeing research, assessment, and accountability for a large urban school district serving more than 50,000 students, she led districtwide assessment and data systems, helped leaders use evidence to guide decisions, and designed and delivered professional learning for hundreds of teachers and administrators. She has also led and contributed to research, evaluation, and technical assistance efforts addressing complex, multi-stakeholder challenges in education.

Tran’s work sits at the intersection of learning, evaluation, and organizational improvement. She believes evidence is most valuable when people can understand it, build shared meaning around it, and use it to make better decisions. At Education First, she brings that philosophy to complex, systems-level challenges, combining analytical rigor, collaboration, and practical action to improve education systems and outcomes for students.
