Creating Great Schools For Washington Students

To prepare Washington students for success in their home state, we must improve outcomes at low-performing schools and for struggling students.

That is the premise of a new report, “Creating Great Schools for Washington Students,” from the Washington Roundtable and Partnership for Learning, done in collaboration with Education First and Public Impact. The report examines the characteristics of Washington’s low-performing schools and struggling students. It also identifies best practices and recommends distinct, actionable strategies for raising student achievement in Washington.

This publication is the second part of a series. The first report, Washington Kids for Washington Jobs, can be found on Washington Roundtable’s website. Bryan Hassel, Daniela Doyle and Juli Kim from Public Impact contributed to this report.
